"Nature is My God" Reliquary
Who knew that rosaries were sometimes sold in beautiful cases? This vintage celluloid rosary case was acquired on eBay, and Barbara held onto it for several years before turning it into a contemporary reliquary. Its religious connection made her think about God and what God meant to her. "If you look at nature and follow its cycles that are so delicately and precisely organized, how can you not think that there is a higher power?" (quote, BK). Note the photo of the bottom of the piece with the title and the date hand-engraved. Price upon request.
